MAAA Wingspan

25 MAAALogo. FEBRUARY WING SPAN across the country without leaving your home field. The general idea is to fly a given task each month, record your score, and then “post” it to the Contest Director (strictly speaking, email it). The idea is to submit your best score each month and your result for the year is based on the best ‘x’ out of ‘y’ scores. These competitions include Radian Glider, F5J, ½ A Texaco Electric Old Timer, Texaco, Height Limited Old Timer, and Electric Vintage Glider. Check our web site out for details www.aefanet.com/ competitions The AEFA also publish a regular e-magazine, Electric & Glider Flight Australia (EGFA) and this is automatically sent to all AEFA members. This e-magazine is also available on the AEFA website. Your contributions (on electric flight) are always welcome and can be forwarded to the EGFA editor Peter Pine ppine@ northnet.com.au Finally, to keep in contact with fellow flyers during COVID-19 restrictions, the AEFA commenced weekly zoom meetings where attendees could share their latest projects and building tips whilst locked up in their workshops. These have proved to be very popular with up to 36 people participating. As restrictions have eased, and flying has returned, these sessions have now been scheduled on a monthly basis. If you would like to join with these chats send me an e-mail and you will receive an invitation to the Google Group that receives the log in details. I invite you to head to our web site for more information, and for an application to join the association. It’s free to join and you will then be on the mailing list. Stay safe and enjoy flying Ralph Dephoff AEFA President Email: randmdephoff@gmail.com
