The 2016 Luskintyre
RC Scale Festival
THE 2016 LUSKINTYRE RC SCALE FESTIVAL WILL BE AN ACTION PACKED THREE-DAY
EVENT, TAKING PLACE IN THE BEAUTIFUL HUNTER VALLEY. MEMBERS WILL ENJOY AN
EXCLUSIVE MEMBER DAY ON FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER BEFORE THE FESTIVAL IS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC ON 29 AND 30 OCTOBER. IT’S SET TO BE A THRILLING WEEKEND, WITH PLENTY OF
ENTERTAINMENT FOR ENTHUSIASTS AND AMATEURS ALIKE.
The Festival is being run by the
Flying Scale Aircraft Association of
New South Wales and is supporting
the local Westpac Rescue Helicopter
Service. It will be an aerial
extravaganza, with the best of
the best on view, from world class
pilots to some of the best models
in the world. Come along to fly and
enjoy the camaraderie with fellow
modellers.
Models on display include RC scale
planes from all eras, which are
perhaps the most realistic form of
aeromodelling and give us a great
insight into aviation history. Scale
jets are as equally exhilarating to fly
as they are to watch and showcase
the skills and knowledge of the pilot.
Other models will be on display
including gliders and floatplanes.
There will be three separate flight
lines and a swap meet.
