These Awards are Scholarships for
graduating Yr. 12 students to the value

The Aerospace Teacher Excellence

which recognises an outstanding
commitment to teaching excellence
in the field of aerospace education.
The Award recognises a teaching

initiative in his/her approach to
aerospace education and who
inspires others through the teacher’s
ongoing contributions to the learning
outcomes of both students and other
teachers.
This is a prestigious award, which will
provide the recipient with:

development experience in
aerospace- related studies; and
• a leadership opportunity in
the provision of professional
development for colleagues; and
• the ability to contribute to the
effectiveness of the Aerospace
Gateway Schools Project.
For this award it was my second time
entering. Each application included:

Space Camp USA for 2 weeks as well as

Calamvale Community College. I
amalways working to improve our
stance in the community for Aviation
and to create as many opportunities
for our students to advance their
opportunities in the aviation industry.
A big thank you to Mark Tunstall
for helping out with writing the
supporting documentation for myself
and students.
