We also support pilots who want to take flying

to new heights and compete at a state, national

and international level.

Aussie pilots did well at championships around

the world this year.

The World Air Games were recently conducted

in Dubai and our own Bruce deChastel teamed

with his wife Linda to take out the FAI Gold

Medal in the Aeromodelling F3T Pylon Racing

event. A great achievement for Bruce and

Linda, and an indication that Aeromodelling in

Australia is alive and well.

Every state has a representative on the MAAA

and in this edition we look at how your views

are represented at the table. We also speak to

Joan McIntyre a renowned FAI F2B (Aerobatic

Control Line) judge and learn more about

families taking part in the sport and events

across the country.

The MAAA are always keen to hear if you have

any story ideas for Wingspan, please contact

editor@maaa.asn.au

.

Until next time, have a fun, safe flight.
