OS ENGINES’ GGT15, 15CC GASOLINE GLOW ENGINE
WITH THE CONVENIENCE
OF A GLOW MOTOR, BUT
WITH OUTSTANDING
PERFORMANCE, RELIABILITY
AND ECONOMY OF A
GASOLINE ENGINE, THE NEW
GGT15 FROM OS ENGINES IS
UNIQUE.
The GGT15 uses a revolutionary new
G5 gas glow plug, which removes the
need for a heavy ignition module
and battery. This gives the GGT15 a
massive power to weight advantage
over other brands of 15cc gasoline
engines, in addition to producing
2.32 horsepower. This makes it a
suitable replacement for any .60
size 2-stroke or .90 size 4-stroke
aircraft.
OS custom designed, the new 61H
carburettor and PD-08 fuel pump
system enables the GGT15 to deliver
precise control and dependability.
The GGT15 can be started with
a regular glow driver and uses
standard unleaded gasoline mixed
50:1 with a high quality, fully
synthetic, two-stroke oil like Deluxe
Materials Power Model 2TS. Gasoline
is available everywhere at a fraction
of the cost of methanol and nitro
in glow fuels making the GGT15
a very economical choice for all
aeromodellers. An added advantage
is no more oily exhaust residue,
meaning less mess, so you and your
models stay cleaner.
With a 14x10 APC propeller on a test
bench the GGT15 delivered 8,715rpm
with 13x8 maxing out at 11,312 rpm.
The GGT15 is equipped with special
shell-type roller bearings and
includes a large rear bearing for
smooth operation and longevity.
The included E-4040 power box
muffler is set up and tuned for this
engine to provide the correct back
pressure with minimum exhaust
noise.
The GGT15 is the first gasoline glow
engine released by OS Engines
and it will be followed by its little
brother, the highly anticipated
GGT10 10cc gasoline glow engine
that will upgrade any .46 size
2-stroke aircraft.
